At Albait Perfume, every fragrance is crafted and inspected with care before it reaches you. However, we understand that issues can occasionally arise during transit or fulfilment. This policy outlines your rights and our obligations when something goes wrong.

This Refund & Return Policy applies to all purchases made through our website, mobile application, or authorised retail partners. By making a purchase, you agree to the terms set out below.

Effective Date: January 1, 2025 Returns and refunds are processed only for orders placed on or after this date under the current policy terms. Older orders are subject to the policy in effect at the time of purchase.

Return Eligibility

Not all situations qualify for a return. Please review the eligibility criteria carefully before raising a request.

  • Product received in a damaged or broken condition
  • Wrong product or fragrance delivered
  • Tampered, resealed, or unsealed packaging on arrival
  • Product leakage due to manufacturing defect
  • Missing items from a bundle or gift set order
  • Expired product delivered (check batch code)
Not Eligible for Return
  • Change of mind or personal scent preference
  • Products that have been opened and used
  • Items without original packaging, seal, or tags
  • Products purchased on clearance or final sale
  • Customised or personalised fragrance orders
  • Returns requested after the 7-day window
Photo/Video Proof Required All return requests must be accompanied by clear photos or a short video of the issue (damaged packaging, wrong item, defect). This helps us process your request faster.

How to Initiate a Return

Follow these simple steps to raise a return request. We aim to resolve all cases within 3–5 business days of receiving your request.

Contact Us Within 48 Hours

Email us at returns@albaitperfume.com or WhatsApp us at +91 98765 00000 within 48 hours of receiving your order. Include your order number and a clear description of the issue.

Submit Evidence

Attach clear photographs or a video showing the damaged product, incorrect item, or defect. Also attach a photo of the outer packaging and the shipping label for reference.

Await Approval

Our team will review your request within 1–2 business days and notify you via email whether your return has been approved or rejected with reasons.

Ship the Product Back

Upon approval, securely pack the product in its original packaging and ship it to our Rajkot warehouse using a trackable courier. Share the tracking number with us once dispatched.

Refund or Replacement Issued

Once we receive and inspect the returned product, your refund or replacement will be processed within 7–10 business days. You'll receive a confirmation email.

Important: Return shipping costs are borne by the customer unless the return is due to our error (wrong item, damaged product). In eligible cases, we will provide a prepaid return label.

Exchanges

We currently offer exchanges only in cases where a wrong product was delivered. We do not offer exchanges for fragrance preference changes as each bottle is unsealed for quality verification only after your confirmation.

Non-Returnable Items

The following categories of products are strictly non-returnable and non-refundable under any circumstances, except in cases of proven manufacturing defect:

Sale & Clearance

All items marked as "Final Sale" or purchased during clearance events.

Limited Editions

Exclusive seasonal or limited run fragrances once opened.

Personalised Orders

Custom-engraved bottles or bespoke fragrance blends.

Opened Gift Sets

Gift sets once any single component has been opened or used.

Damaged or Wrong Orders

We take full responsibility for products damaged in transit or incorrectly fulfilled. Here is what to do immediately upon receiving such an order:

Act Fast — 48-Hour Window: All damage and wrong-delivery claims must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. Claims made after this period will not be entertained.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I return a perfume I don't like the smell of?
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns based on fragrance preference. Scent perception is highly personal and subjective. We recommend using our sample/discovery set before purchasing a full bottle. Samples are available for most of our fragrances.
I haven't received my refund yet. What should I do?
Once we process a refund, please allow 7–10 business days for it to reflect in your account. First, check with your bank or payment provider. If it still hasn't arrived after 10 business days from our confirmation email, contact us at support@albaitperfume.com with your order number.
Do I need to pay for return shipping?
Return shipping is free if the return is due to our error — damaged, defective, or wrong product. For all other eligible returns, the customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping. We recommend using a trackable courier service.
Can I exchange for a different fragrance?
We do not offer fragrance-to-fragrance exchanges based on preference. Exchanges are only available for wrong items delivered or products with manufacturing defects. We suggest placing a fresh order for the desired fragrance.
What if my order arrives after a long delay?
If your order has not arrived within the promised delivery window, please contact us at support@albaitperfume.com. We will investigate with our courier partner and provide an update within 2 business days. If the package is confirmed lost, we will issue a full refund or replacement at no cost.
Can I cancel my order after it has been placed?
Orders can be cancelled within 2 hours of placement, provided they have not yet been dispatched. Once an order is packed and handed to the courier, cancellation is no longer possible and you would need to follow the standard return process after delivery.
